The COVID-19 outbreak has meant many changes for all of us, but it hasn't stopped the Fisher House Michigan mission. In fact, the pandemic has offered new opportunities for you to support the Michigan military and Veteran community.
VA Ann Arbor Fisher House OPENS TODAY!

While we are disappointed that the Dedication Ceremony planned for June 19 has been indefinitely postponed, we are energized as the mission continues. In fact, with your support, Fisher House Michigan has the honor of meeting a special need in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak in Southeast Michigan!
The first guests in the VA A2 Fisher House will be mandated medical staff who are fighting the COVID-19 battle on the front lines. During this temporary shift in Fisher House guests, Fisher House Michigan is also supporting comfort lodging for those few family members who are allowed into VA Ann Arbor to spend final moments with their terminal loved ones in palliative care.
Those family members or caregivers who are assisting their Veterans required to travel for critical outpatient procedures may also qualify for lodging. The VA Ann Arbor Fisher House team will be able to field specific questions, and can provide guidance regarding eligibility. E-mail them directly››
Supporting Heroes Saving Heroes This virus is indiscriminate, and Southeast Michigan is one of the hardest hit areas in the United States. In response, the VA announced their Fourth Mission to help Michigan fight back -- both VA Ann Arbor and VA Detroit have actively supported the Fourth Mission. To date, your gifts of PPE and morale-boosting hot meals for critical medical staff in Detroit are literally saving lives of both our Hometown and Healthcare Heroes.
